MHS students and staff will be attending Camp Anytown on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 through Saturday, February 10, 2018. What is Camp Anytown..you ask?
Camp Anytown is a four day residential camp intensive leadership training program that reduces stereotyping and prejudice and increases understanding and respect for others. Specifically, the camp speaks to cultural and religious bias, sexism, racism, etc. The goal is to help students, who have been chosen as campus leaders, to identify campus bias and communicate and interact positively with our unique and diverse student population, staff and the community. Students and staff participate in activities that identify opportunities, obstacles and solutions to human relations issues specific to Milpitas High School. To donate, click on the "More" tab above, then to our PTSA store.
